Chinking
Chinking is the filler that seals the gap between logs, preventing the elements from passing through that gap and into the home. Big Horn Log Care is committed to getting the job done right. When it comes to this service, you can count on us to be professional and timely.
Cob / Glass Blasting
Media Blasting is an effective and efficient method to remove old or failed stain and clear away any UV damaged areas. This gets down to good, bare wood and will restore most surfaces to a like-new appearance. Pressure Washing
Adequate prep is essential to a quality job. Pressure washing removes the caked on dust, dirt, mildew, and other contaminants that could otherwise cause your stain to fail prematurely. Here at Big Horn Log Care, we don't just do the job, we do the job right.
Log Rot Repair
Log rot happens when when logs become wet and stay wet for a period of time. The kind of repair needed depends on how much of the log has decayed. Big Horn Log Care is there for you whether you need some light surface repair work, or an entire log replacement.
Thermal Imaging
Do you notice air drafts in your home when it gets windy, or do you notice a lot of insects getting into your house and your not sure how they are getting in? Big Horn Log Care can help. Through a process of momentarily depressurizing your house and using an infrared-camera, we can see where the cold air is getting in. These areas can also be possible insect entryways.

This service is best preformed during the winter months when the air temperatures between the inside and outside of the house will be greatest.

Our Story
My name is Jeremy Hansen and Big Horn Log Care may be new to Cody, Wyoming and the Bighorn Basin, but I am second-generation in the log care services, maintenance, and restoration business. I began to help take care of log and wood sided homes with my father approximately 20 years ago in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and the surrounding areas.
As the founder of Big Horn Log Care, I am thrilled to be able to offer my services and knowledge to the people in the area where my wife, children, and I have come to call home. My goal for my customers is to not only meet, but exceed their expectations and ensure their satisfaction.
